M&G

Anyone have any testimonials about the M&G brake system for toads?

Going on 5 years with ours on a Jeep Wrangler. No problems at all.

I've been using the original M&G in two JK Jeeps for over six years and no issues whatsoever. Very easy to hook up and go. Installation takes some time but well worth it. The newer JL Wranglers do require the 2.0 model that is similar to the Air Force One.

They have done two different vehicles for me. Love the ease of just hooking up an air line to the toad.

I've been using the M&G Engineering for the past 20+- years on two different coaches, and 7 different toads. Soooooo easy to hook up and go.

M&G and Air Force One are basically the same systems, at least they work the same way. The M&G doesn't require any under dash work like the Air Force One but is limited to what vehicles it will fit. As more stuff is added under the hood of new cars, the ability to add the M&G master cylinder unit is getting more and more limited. I think even M&G realized this as they offer a unit now for vehicles where the master cylinder unit can't be used.

I wouldn't be hesitant to buy either brand. I went with the Air Force One as I've been able to move it to six different vehicles.

Been using M&G for fifteen years. Love the ease of use. I have the breakaway system also.

Some later year cars may require a bit of modification to get the room in front of the master cylinder. Download the instructions for the vehicle to see what is involved.

I don't know about the systems using a cable pull on the pedal.

The original style (vacuum manifold between master cylinder and brake booster) M&G will always be my first choice. So nice to not have to hook up anything inside the toad.

Another tip of the hat for the M&G system. Works very well.
USA product with great customer support. They even offer a "trade in" of your old unit if you change toads. Who else does that?

I dont have the M&G system on our Wrangler but I have read 5 years worth of reviews and testimonies on this forum and they have all been basically 100% positive. For a coach with air brakes its very hard to beat the M&G system if they make one for your toad.

A google search says it all. Virtually 100% positive reviews.

I have M&G on both my Canyon and Enclave. It’s an excellent system and very reliable.

I really like the M&G system on our CRV. I think their original system is the best on the market.
