M & G Brake System in 2016 Wrangler

After many years of use I have lost confidence in my older Brake Buddy and after numerous recommendations I am considering the M&G. After reading the installation instructions on line I decided that is within my ability to install it however, it appears that the space between the master cylinder and the antilock system is too tight to move the master cylinder forward.

Has anyone done this installation on a 2016 Wrangler and does it fit or what has to be done to gain more space? Thanks

MDPD,
Yes, it will fit. You're gonna have to call Arnold Schwarzenegger to help you move that ABS unit forward "just enough" to shoe-horn that M&G system in there. There will be a tiny bit of plastic cutting in order to create space for the ABS unit to move forward. I myself have not done it, just talked with a few that have and all have said the same thing, it fits, it's tight but, it fits. My old TJ wasn't too bad of an install and, our GMC Sierra toad, was a fairly easy install but, the Jk's gonna bark at me some when it comes time.

Thanks, I will order the unit soon and will find out. From the very limited available space to move the antilock forward even with cutting some of the plastic antilock base and not kinking the brake lines, I am thinking I may need Lou Farrigno and Arnold.

I had one installed on my 2010 JKUR from the shop I bought it from. They did not have a problem. Your 2016 should be the same.

I installed my M&G myself and it was not a bad job. As Scott said, moving the ABS motor forward was the hardest part. You don't have to disconnect the lines, just use a little force to rearrange them. One thing I did that others have not said anything about is once the brace for the ABS is cut off, I screwed a piece of sheet aluminum over the hole left behind and spray painted it black. There is a mounting stud on the bottom of the motor that you will have to cut a hole in the sheet aluminum to accommodate.
