Hey Darin. Tell me about that drive shaft disconnect. I've got an '03 Tundra that I've considered towing.
Sorry for getting back late. You can order just the kit for around 750.00 but you have to get it welded on driveshaft and balanced . I Ordered the drive shaft with the disconnect already on and there is a separate mechanism that disengages via a cable and knob you mount in cab. You have to install this. for a little over $1000.00 . You dont get both shafts , just the rear.I have a 2 piece driveshaft and I had to remove old rear driveshaft and install this shaft and the disengage mechanism. Not really difficult. There is some grinding on the differential , dont worry , wont hurt anything. It came balanced and with new ujoints . It works great .Saved me from buying a truck with a transfer case (4◊4) check out superior driveline on the web . Great to work with very professional.
