Magnetic mount LED towing lights flashing too fast with turn signals.

I bought these style of lights, https://www.truemods.com/12v-dc-dot-...-cazledtbl4102 along with a Curt 5-4 wire converter, and when I use either turn signal, they flash too rapidly. The hazard switch works normally. Any idea what to do to make the turn signals flash normal?

Change the flasher. The extra lights are making the original flash fast.

Go with a heavy duty.

Ford products used to flash too fast if you had a bulb burned out. even the little indicator light in the dash was enough to make them flash faster. when you connected a trailer the extra draw would slow them down [ by a lot.]

I would bet your new lights are creating that same effect. you might find that you need to switch to LED bulbs , or the opposite and switch away from LED's. The mismatch is causing the speed issue. The last possibility would be that you need to install an isolation relay between the tv and the lights. But I would change bulbs first. Good Luck, DR

I should elaborate in that I'm not using this in a towing situation. I'm using this INSTEAD of the factory lights temporarily for road testing use while the rear body of this mid-engine car is removed.

Magnetic mount LED towing lights flashing too fast with turn signals.

You need something like this . . .

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BBWLY8XD...W3A6GVQB434Y_1

Old style flashers used resistance on the circuit to cause/determine flasher speed. To much resistance would cause them to flash faster. To little resistance and they would flash very slow.

New solid state flasher units don’t use resistance to determine flasher speed. They are used often when people switch to LED flasher bulbs.
