Mini Cooper Tow Set-Up

Is it just me or perhaps it is the angle of the photo but the hitch height looks a lot higher than the 3 or 4 inches recommended by most tow bar companies. I could easily be wrong, just seems like it from the view. I had to use a 4" drop to haul a Fiat 500 that has the baseplate connectors 13 1/2 inches off the ground to get it close. I did not want to use a 6" drop to avoid problems going up steep drives.

Yes this was right after install. It has since been lowered 4 inches to level.
