Check this website.

Some models are towable and some models are not depending on engine, trans. and model.

My wife has an 05 yellow mustang convertable and she insisted we tow it out west to custer and yellowstone. putting on the mount for the tow bar was no problem and when taken off it is mostly not seen. I didd make a wire harness and external tail lights that plug into the motorhome trailer harness so not to intrude into the mustang electrical. I also used the brake buddy and everything worked out nicely. One thing though it is automatic so I had to disconnect the driveshaft, but it was no big deal and only took 10-15 minutes at most.
