Need installer for Ready Brute in Massachusetts
Would anyone know where I could have the Ready Brute Elite tow bar installed on my 2008 Phoenix Cruiser and 2013 Honda CRV. I have the base plate already installed on the Honda but need to have someone install the brake cable and lights. We are in Webster,Ma.
Thanks,Rick

Most body shops should be able to handle that.

Ahh.... bummer, I used to live in Chelmsford, MA, but got deported to Virginia 5 yrs ago.
I would have helped you install it... I just did it on my Chevy Cruze.
Anyway... as stated before, a competent body shop should be able to help you out.

OK, I'm getting ready to go this route myself. Why a body shop. Sounds more like work for a mechanic. Glad I saw this before I blundered ahead.

We have a local company that installs truck accessories, trailer hitches, trim, and practically anything that has anything to to with a truck. They have installed baseplates & wiring on two vehicles for me. You might look in the yellow pages for some place like that.
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

It ain't rocket science, took me less than 90 mins start to finish. Of course an amount of dexterity is involved :-).

RV's R Us may be able to help. they are in the next town over in Oxford, MA
I have bought some accessories from them but have never needed them to do any service work for me, but they seem nice and knowledgeable.
Good Luck

That makes me feel better. Have a mechanic I trust, so I should be OK.

Just a update,Mechanic finished the job for me today for $150.He drilled thru the firewall in our 2013 CRV and connected the brake cable. He also installed two light bulbs inside the red rear lenses that are independent of the CRV lights.Everything works perfectly.I'm all set for our Prince Edward Island run in two weeks.
