Okay ---- let me first say this is a serious question

(I'm really not trying to get you to look at my ad --- I actually hope you've sold one in the past and can help with some ideas

).

I want to sell a tow dolly and have no real idea where or how best to advertise it. Kind of tough to put it on eBay since it isn't easy to ship. The online RV sites that I've found really don't have a good category for such an animal. The local newspaper (The Dallas Morning News) doesn't have a good section for folks to easily find it. Anyone one have any good ideas?

Several years ago, I sold a car dolly in the HOuston Chronicle in under a week. Put the ad under the motorhome section.

Do you have a local bargan buyers/want add magazine? many areas have books you can advertise in and pay after the sale is made. we have several here in the east with a huge readership. Just a thought. Scotty.

If you can park it some place that has a lot of RV traffic (to & from a campground) with a sign on it; you should get some good exposure and possible intrest. Be sure to chain & lock it down or you may just give it away

. Also I think that RV trader has a local printed paper in your area. Good luck.
