New Explorer Ready to Roll

I finally got everything installed on the new 2008 Explorer...new base plate, the Air Force One braking system, and the add-a-bulbs. Base plate not too bad..drilling 8 holes in the frame was the most time-consuming part.

I need to keep this one because I am really getting too old for this stuff .

How did the NTK install go? Does it work like your older Explorer? Why do you think the light kit was installed in the center console? I have put mine in neutral tow several times to see if it is reliable. It was not failed to shift into neutral yet. Thanks for all the advice received in this forum.

Ford dealer did the NTK..cost for kit and install was $244 . While thee were connections both under the dash and in the center console, the little neutral tow light is in same location as my 2004 Explorer. It is engaged in the same manner as the 2004...tranny in neutral, ignition off, hold brake and 4X4 Auto button until light stays 'on.'
