Old type Brake Buddy with 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Does anybody know if my older BB will work with my newer Jeep GC? My concern is that the jeep requires such a light foot pressure to stop when I'm driving it that the BB will overwhelm it and flat spot my tires when I try to stop the coach with jeep in tow. Any thoughts would be appreciated .

After you turn the engine off, pump the brake pedal a few times to bleed off the vacuum.

Ross,

For this "Old Style" brake buddy, do you know if it has the test feature. If it does, when used it should break the vacuum and operate the brake pedal correctly.

As others have said, If you Brake Buddy has a test feature or button, hit that 3 or 4 times before you tow. if it doesn't, just hit the brake pedal a few times before you install the Brake Buddy, and this process must be repeated after, any time you start the engine to bleed off the residual vacuum.
