Patriot Braking

First trip towing Wrangler using the Patriot braking system. Have the sensitivity set to 1. When applying brakes, it still seems to apply too much power and when I release my brake, the toads brakes seem to not release for a second or so. Are there other adjustments other than the sensitivity?
Thx!

I have had a Patriot for about 5 years. Now I just turn the sensitivity down to 0 and I just use it for the breakaway function. I used to leave the Patriot on 5 but behind the big heavy diesel pushers I never noticed the toad brakes doing much and it was constantly “timing out” if I used the brakes for too long and the remote control would flash 8 until I stopped and turned the Patriot power off then back on.
