Preparing My Tow Vehicle

Good Morning Everyone

We just purchased our 2013 Honda CRV and we are wondering what is the best tow package we can put on.

I am looking at a Roadmaster Stowmaster towbar and a Blue Ox Aladdin. I am told that the Stowmaster mounts on the toad and the baseplate/hookup cannot be hidden when not being towed and the Blue Ox can be hidden?

I am also looking at three braking systems.....the Roadmaster Invisi-Brake
the SMI Braking System and Brake Buddy Vantage.

I am really confused about all of this info and want to make the best choice that allows me to "hide" the tow bar/base plate connections when not in tow and a braking system that is dependable.

Thanks! Frank

First of all , I'll move this thread for you to toads and MH towing where you'll get more responses. I use the Blue Ox and SMI braking system. You can search the forum as well to see a bunch of past threads.

I have the roadmaster base plate and tow bar .It is barely visable when the tow bar is off. I am towing a Mazda Tribute. That is all I can tell you ,the snow came before I could try it out.
