Preparing to tow a 2021 Grand Cherokee

I was reading the manual to get the directions and the item 13 says (push the engine start stop button twice (without pushing the brake pedal), to turn the ignition to the off mode). When I towed my 04 it had to be in the acc position so the steering wouldn’t lock. Is this not a problem with the new GC.

My 2017 jgc has the same procedure. Push twice to turn off the ignition after placing it in neutral. I have had no problems.

Yep, no more steering wheel locks on the newer model Grand Cherokees.
