Pull a fuse from the Saturn toad? Help!

Along with my last post, my 07 vue does not rely on the OEM brake lights when towing. I purchased the light kit from Demco and the lights are power directly from the MH. It is a simple disconnect plug. The light kit requires drilling new holes in the tail light assembly and installing the new light fixture. I do pull the fuse, and have left the ACC switch turned on at overnight stops and have never had the battery go down. I'm using the Air Force 1 braking system.
