How best to hook up

They say that there is no such thing as a dumb question but here goes! I am about to start towing an enclosed car trailer and am wondering how best to line up the motorhome hitch with the trailer receiver. Any tips or tricks?

Thanks Chuck but how best to line up the hitch ball with the receiver longitudinally? Rear backup camera? DW on a walkie-talkie? Electric hitch dolly on the trailer to move it left and right?

When backing up to any trailer with any vehicle be as safe as possible. Use backup camera, mirrors, and a spotter. Lastly remember your GOAL—get out and look.

You never know when you may get into a tight turning situation with a MH & trailer. Why would you want to limit yourself. Go 60" and have a piece of mind! Seen to many people damage both units, Or have to disconnect to get out of it. Just my .02

I put a black dot on my backup camera that puts me on the ball.

I paint my Hitch area over the ball white and the flat area on top of the ball white. Easier to see with the camera.
