Look at M&G for a brake system. I have it on our 2014 Equinox. 1 airline to hook up from coach plus breakaway cable. It is very easy to connect and go

Here is another EZ hook up. Air line, brake away, lights, tow bar, safety cables. When it comes to the cables this setup is great.

Ok purchased a RM all Terrain, 8,000lb tow bar, MX base plate and SMI, Air Force brake kit. Also purchased the custom Hopkins light lit for the Equinox. All purchased from etrailer except tow bar, purchased locally. Install this weekend.

Blue Ox tow bar and plates are popular because the base plate doesn't show much on the vehicle pulse it is an easy hookup and take down.
The SMI breaking systems is also vey popular and is definitely one of the better ones, unfortunately it is also me of the more expensive ones. Activation of the breaking system is just a matter of flipping a switch. In addition the system is nearly undetectable once installed.
There are others out there that are similar. You just have to compare them to see what is right for you.
