Ram - Bighorn what’s your set up

Anyone towing a Ram Bighorn? What sets ups did you use. We’re partial to Roadmaster. Unsure if Airforce is worth the $$$$.

Thank you!

I have a 2022 Laramie CC long bed. I use the RVi-3 brake box and Demco Excalibar-3, Curt wiring harness for tail lighting.

I usually carry a full size golf cart in the truck bed...

Will be setting up my 16 Bighorn. Bought a used Roadmaster Black Hawk 2 All Terrain. Will be ordering the base plates from E Trailer. I also use a Brake Buddy Classic. And will need the diode kit to hook up the lights.

I have Ram parts in the Classified Section; Blue Ox Baseplate, M&G Braking System and should have the wiring harness for a Ram with LED tail lights that were in a 2014 Ram I had. The diodes are built into the harness in the one I have and with the Curt harness. https://www.curtmfg.com/all-products...wing+Harnesses

Ram 2022 set up

We set up our RAM Longhorn Limited with Blue Ox base plate, Curt wiring , 6 pin Connector and brake away with RVi3. The tow bar was a E-Trailer XHD 10500 LB. We didn't drill any hole for the 6 pin or brake away. It did take all day to remove the bumper and tow hooks in order to install the base plates and re install the bumper. Did it ar the auto hobby shop on Barksdale it helps to have a lift.

I'm on my 5th truck as a toad. I ONLY use Roadmaster base plates and tow bars. I run the Roadmaster Falcon II All terrain rated at 10K to tow my current truck F-150 Ford Raptor that weighs in at 6100 pounds.

I like the Air Force One for convenience, once it's installed, and the proportional braking on a heavy toad.

I tow a Ram 3500, using 10000 lb Blue Ox bar, Air Force 1 brake, Roadmaster baseplate and I use separate lights wired independently of cutting into factory wiring. I installed everything myself as I have done previously.
