Recommended braking system for towing Jeep Liberty

What braking system would those towing a Jeep Liberty recommend?

There are several excellent choices, however, I recommend one that fits totally under the hood/nothing in the floorboard. Some friends have on that sits in the floorboard, and frequently comment on how it is a nuisance when they want to use the car. Keep in mind you really do get what you pay for.

Since I have a Diesel pusher and an M&G engineering auxiliary braking system
that uses air pressure from the MH when braking(can also be operated from a small compressor mounted under your gas MH), I'm not familiar with the various type 12v electric systems.

We use the Blue Ox Patriot 2 braking system and have been very happy. Easy to set up on our Wrangler. You do need 12 volt power that is on all the time, not just when engine is running.

We have used the Brake Buddy but others are just as good. We went with the portable because we change vehicles from time to time. It only take 5 minutes to install or remove once you have it adjusted.
