Reinstall SMI Duo Stay and Play

Hello I am reinstalling my SMI stay and play duo on a new TOAD. I removed it from my prior TOAD and I have everything. I also bought a reinstall kit from Demco. I am trying to replace the small hardline tube that runs from the unit mounted under hood down to the actuator on brake pedal. The old tube coming from the unit is too short so I need to replace it. I cannot determine how to remove the old tube from the unit itself (so I can use the new tube). Does anyone know how to do this? I added a photo.

I sent an email to Demco asking this question but I have everything taken apart this weekend and I was hoping to put it all back together this weekend. Hoping somebody here knows how to do this so I can finish up.

Thanks in advance!

With out a close look I would say grab and pull. The nut on the tubing screws down on the fitting and slightly compresses the tubing holding it in place.

Okay, if you look closely, that hose line has a lip on it. The nut that you backed off holds that hose in the fitting, by tightening down against the lip. Just pull the hose out now that the nut is backed off. It's most likely tight because it's plastic and has been exposed to heat. You might even be able to get a thin flat blade screwdriver between the lip and the fitting and pry.

I vaguely remember that you need to push the housing down and then the line will slip out. Does it look like it will move down?

Thanks everyone. I figured it out. I put the nut back in place to secure. Then you push in the little ring at tip where hose goes in, and while pushing the ring in, pull the tube out. Comes right out easily when pushing the ring in. I appreciate everyone here ... and wanted to past back my solution in case this comes up for someone else. Thanks!
