Remco transmission oil pump

WE ARE CONSIDERING A TOAD THAT WOULD REQUIRE THE USE OF A TRANSMISSION OIL PUMP (ie REMCO LP-7). HAS SNYONE HAD A PROBLEM THAT COULD NOT BE RESOLVED? THANKS.

Used the lub pump for about 5 years before purchasing Jeep. Never had a problem and put over 100,000 miles on with the pump. still have it in case I ever purchase another vehicle that needs pump

I use one on my Escalade. I have replaced three of them in 45K miles. I always carry a spare just in case. You can always start the vehicle and leave it idle. You have to check it now and then to make sure it doesn't stall.
If you really want to tow a certain vehicle it is the only way to go.
