Rent a car trailer

Do anyone know if you can still rent a car trailer to tow a minivan on? I need to move a Chrysler Pacifica from Florida to Pennsylvania behind my RV. I have plenty of capacity in my DP, but places like uhaul don't seem to allow towing vehicles over 4000 pounds.

thanks. I will try to call U-Haul and see what a person will say vs. their website. The website will rent a 10' truck and trailer, but my 38' RV and trailer is a no go. Not that they ask for any RV info.

Probably for what you would pay to rent one, especially if you only want to take it one way, you could buy one. Resell it when you are done. You would probably lose very little on a used one.

uhaul has issue with you using the rv as the tow vehicle.

i had to go this route a few years ago and pick up the trailer with my pickup, then go home and hook it to the rv.

i imagine its all about liability

Had to call

I tried to go through the website and it wouldn't let me, but I called the 800 number and got it setup for an auto-transport one-way from FL to PA/OH for $336. Thanks everyone for the ideas and help!

Rent a car trailer

Considering the cost to rent one of their trailers one way I am pretty sure that you could have it shipped for about the same cost. A lot of shippers headed north right now with cars so you
Should be able to get a very competitive rate. The other plus to this is you won’t have to worry about it behind you on a trailer that you don’t know.

Sorry that I didn’t see that you found a very good priced transporter before I posted the above. Good for you.
