Roadmaster air reservoir placement jeep JK

I just bought a 2014 Jeep JK and can't find a spot to put the break away air reservoir tank. Has anyone done one of these, and where did you mount it?

Tom

If I can find a place in a Honda fit there must be a place in your jeep.

The reservoir on our 2012 Terrain was placed on the crossbar up by the radiator. This was for an M&G system. About the only place for it. Thought this might help but apples and oranges.

Kixs what a great idea wish I would have seen that 4 toads ago. looks like the hookup could be a little harder in my Fit. but the install is a cake walk.

I installed a roadmaster breakaway tank today on my '12 Wrangler, put it behind the front bumper bracket just forward of the front stabilizer bar at enough of an angle to allow for draining. Seems pretty well protected from the elements and air lines run neatly from that location.

The breakaway tank needs to be drained?? How often and how? Mine is mounted parallel to the ground.

I put my air resevoir on my 2012 Rubicon on the left front corner under the horns. I have had my Roadmaster setup in use for over 20,000 towed miles without problem.

Have you ever had to drain it?

I installed the system on two vehicles so far, a '97 Jeep GC and our present '05 Honda Odyssey. In both cases I found enough room behind the battery in the inside fenderwell. They weren't vertical and I've never found any water in them anyway. Had to remove the battery to do the install but once done I've never needed to get to them other than to drain them and I had enough hand room to do it.

You didn't read the instructions or notice the drain petcock on the bottom?

I had it installed by a dealer and did not get any manuals or documentation with it! I'll have to look for petcock. There's always something more!

Oh sorry! And I'm assuming you have the BrakeMaster 9160 like we do?
Go to the RoadMaster web site, they have all their manuals online or at least the ones I've needed to answer questions.
