Roadmaster Evenbrake 9400

I just purchased my new to me class a with cummins 400 hp and now getting ready to flat tow a 2007 Camry SE. Yes I need an transmission oil pump kit and just purchased a year old even brake 9400 as supplementary brake system. Of what I read the unit is activated by MH brake wire lights when brakes are applied. My question is that MH has Jig Brake system and when used the brake lights comes on which means the Evenbrake system will be activated. I would like to have system come on only when brakes from MH are applied.I want to know if I need to run a wire from MH brake switch like this the unit will only be activated when brakes are applied and not when Jig is used.
Any input would be greatly appreciated

If your brake lights illuminate when you use your Jig Brake (whatever that is?) and the Evenbrake activates with the brake lights, (and you don't want it to), I'm pretty sure you will have to "run a wire from MH brake switch like this".
Good thinking!

Finally had to have camping world take off the invisbrake and all wiring . After 18 months they never could get it to work with our 2011 CRV. I think we now have electrical on our toad and Motor Home working.. Keeping my fingers crossed

I have an Even Brake and it is proportional, and does not use the brake lights for braking. What it uses the feed off the brake lights for is to make sure the system is not engaged longer than 15 seconds. After 15 seconds the Even Brake will release the brake pedal in the towed so the brakes do not overheat.
