Roadmaster Knighthawk -- can you route electric cable down passenger side arm?

I'm curious if you can switch the electric cable from the drivers side arm to the passenger side arm, and still power the LED lights? Where my electrical connection is located, I don't think the cable will reach from the drivers side arm to my electric receptacle.

I asked them last year and they said no. They said it's due to how the connection for the LED lights is made. They also said it's a common request so they may allow it in the future. I will not hold my breath but maybe you'll get a different answer nowadays.

That's my guess. I emailed them, but haven't heard back yet.

I have a RockHard bumper and this is what mine looks like hooked up. The cable shouldn't make much difference but I need a 6" riser to get the towbar near level. I do have a Rubicon but it is stock except for the bumper.

This isn't my jeep (don't have access to it at the moment), but here is an image of a JK with a Rock Hard. I've put a circle where my electric connection is. Do you think it will reach to that point?

My electric is mounted in the grill opening, second slot from the left looking at it (passenger side) and air is in the next grill slot. Localish RV shop that installed for me put it there rather than cutting hole and mounting in bumper.

Yours looks like it has quite a bit of slack in the electric, but can't tell if it would reach all the way across and up, and still have slack in the turns.

Interesting on the riser. Not sure if it's the difference between stock and Rubicon (can't tell if yours is a JK or JL) or between the LE and regular ventana, or Freightliner vs. Spartan, but I don't have a riser and it's nearly perfectly level.

The cable on my Nighthawk wouldn't reach. Move the socket over to the drivers side and lower it. Maybe that would do it.

When I get Jeep back, I'll have to see how the wires are routed and how big a challenge moving it will be.

Another option might be feeding more of the cable out. I watched a video on installing a replacement cable, and I wonder if I could cut the LED feed, splice in a couple extension wires (to the LED lights), use heat shrink and tape to seal, and then feed more cable through to reach the other side.

Obviously, I could use a regular cable and blow off the lights, as well.
