Rock Guard install

We have a 2022 Winnebago Adventurer 29B and want to add a rock guard to protect our toad. It’s not obvious where we can attach the angle iron to the rear of the coach. There are many obstacles- has anyone installed one and have any advice? Not sure if it can safely be installed to the rear wall behind the bumper or if further towards the tires connecting to the frame is sturdier. Thanks for any advice!

Second, you should add a "signature" to your profile. It contains whatever info you want; most people put info about their coach there, so they don't have to type it into each message. Instructions for adding a signature are here.

Re: Toad protection. I never owned one, but some folks on iRV2 report positive results with a Roadmaster Tow Defender (link here). It mounts to the towbar, rather than the coach. Here is a link to a Tow Defender (model 4700) on etrailer.

I had rear tire splash guards and a rock guards on my two coaches, and still had chips on the front of the toad. Had I been more concerned about that I would have added a Tow Defender.

I suspect that no matter what steps you take some stones/rocks will get by.
