Obviously their idea was to build a combination unit that cost less than a TOAD brake and TPMS. Sounds like it wasn't well implemented. I'll stay with my TST system which has been pretty much flawless for years.

We just finished a thousand mile trip with RVi brake 3 and Tire Patrol TPMS and had zero issues. We had an issue initially during setup with the hub not connecting, but we moved it onto a wall in the bedroom and power it with the USB next to the bed. We power the tablet thru a USB on our dash. We have the brake, TPMS, wireless breakaway and charge line for the towed battery. As per the recommendations, now that we're home and won't be traveling for a while, we will remove the TPMS sensors.
I mostly keep the tablet on the Tire Patrol screen as that's the most important. It would be nice if both tire pressure and temperature were displayed on one screen. I have switched it to the brake screen when we're in areas where braking will be needed and it shows the brakes are being applied when necessary.
The only minor problem we had was the tablet coming off the magnetic mount when driving on some horribly rough roads.

I am kinda new to RV life, But I have had the hub and brake was thinking about getting tire pressure. But my hub power plug broke. I talked with RVi and they said ship it to them to fix. It is under a year old.... It shipped FedEx and they received it... waited few weeks.. Contact RVi and they cant find it, no receipt of shipment, I show tracking and Crickets..... LOL well, lets just say, I will not be getting TPMS from them. . I am just glad I really dont need the hub, just my screen is a paper weight now. toad break seems ok.

My first time out I had a few surprises....
I chose large SUV for my 11000lb RV and 4500lb Ranger toad.
It didn't seem like it was braking much. So I chose Large pickup. Seemed to work OK but still not right...especially when panic stopping, it slammed on the brakes so hard it would lockup the system and I would have to do the setup all over again.
Next I tried small SUV and everything worked as advertised. Driving through neighborhoods at 25 and slowly stopping for stop signs, not much braking (that's my style) If I stopped quicker (like most people I drive with) it braked a bit at every stop. If I panic braked...I could feel the toad tugging but didn't lockup anymore.
The only thing I can think of is the combination of weights and stopping speeds/aggressiveness. That combo may determine the combination or at least selection of toad type. Going up may add braking power, but if more braking occurrences are wanted, try going down in toad size. Just make sure you feel the toad braking and/or monitor the tablet to see the displayed braking.
True I am still new with the RVI...but am pretty good at analyzing system issues and resolving them. Play around before dumping it.

Full-time 1500 miles, brake, charging, wireless breakaway and tire patrol working fine, I especially like that I can see all tires all the time, with my old system I had to wait as pressure moved from tire to tire.

I love my RVI brake. Works great with my Nautilus. I have the TPMS also. I have it set on small SUV and it really only applies when hard braking which is right where I want it.
The best thing I love about the RVI brake is the ability to manually apply toad brakes, makes the hookup so much easier being solo, use it to lock the arms in place.
