RVi Brake TPMS

Are any of you operating the RVi Brake system using their TPMS system on all wheels? Looking at their site it is showing the sensors for the towed only. If so are you happy with it or would you use an alternate TPMS? I'd like to keep the amount of monitors to a minimum. Thanks.

In our case, we had the TST TPMS system before we bought a toad, so our choice was pretty easy. I have heard of a couple cases where the remote display has lost contact with the Rvi Brake unit in the toad. It seems to be an intermitent problem, but if that happens, would you not also lose your TPMS sensors as well? Since the Rvi Brake doesn't need the remote display in order to function, it would be a non issue for us.

I know what you mean about multiple monitors. Between the backup monitor, the GPS, the Rvi Brake, and the TST TPMS monitor, it does get a little crowded on the dash.

Also, since I don't use the Rvi TPMS system, I do not know how they are displayed on the monitor. On the TST system, I see the 6 wheels of the coach, and the 4 wheels in the coach, at a glance.

Also the TST monitor has an internal battery. When charged, it will last all day without being plugged in. That gets rid of one of the power cords while driving. I also don't know if there is a limit to the number of sensors you can monitor through the Rvi Brake.

Thanks. I'm beginning to think RVi is towed only (4 sensors) so I may look elsewhere. I do intend to use RVi brake as I think that's the best option on the Fiat 500L. Many of the air operated ones are not offered due to lack of space.

We have a Pressure Pro on all 10 wheels. Works well. If you can't get a signal from the toad you can buy a booster to either put in the toad or the back of the MH.

The RVI2 TPMS is for the toad only. The tire pressures are displayed on the brake package monitor so if you are planning on using their brake package you're done!! We have their package (brake and TPMS) and are very happy with both!

What do you use for the coach wheels for TPMS? Right now I'm using an IR temp gun at each stop but that's still rolling the dice.

Our coach is equipped with Smartire integrated with the TripTek System.
