RVI Braking system antenna

We have lost the antenna to our RVI2 braking system monitor, and was sent a a replacement antenna from RVI with an L shaped adapter. After much back and forth with the company, as the antenna did not fit our monitor, it would seem that they want me to take the monitor apart and do some soldering (would also have to drill a bigger hole for the components to fit thru). Has anybody else done this. Currently using the system without the monitor.

RVI braking

My WIFI router for the system died this year after little over a year. This was the second one I had. So can't use the tablet to monitor it or the TPMS I purchased with the system. I love the RVI3 braking system. Tablet and router not so much.

Did they send some detailed instructions? Wonder if they would do the modification if you returned it to them?

I've had them work on my RVI2 twice for lost communication with the monitor, worked for a couple of trips then quit again. I like their unit, works very well, just won't communicate with the monitor.
