I can’t speak for the Roadmaster unit but I do have the RVIbrake3. I originally used it with our 26’ Winnie Navion towing our Jeep Wrangler and now with our Renegade. Once you find a good location for the hub to connect with the tablet and the braking unit it works almost flawlessly. I’ve had a few connectivity issues but nothing serious. When the unit does brake the toad, it is very smooth unless you really have to jump on the binders. It’s very easy to install and remove as it only takes a few minutes. That’s my $.02 hope it helps.

Why is the choice between these two, they are very different products, sold by different companies, etc. with many other more comparable competitors to each.

To Compare this to fruit it is sort of like asking you should buy a Fuji Apple or a Washington Navel Orange, instead of asking if you should buy a Fuji Apple or a Gala Apple.
