Selling as a toad or car

I have sold the motorhome and as such don't need the Jeep Wrangler for a toad.[Mod Edit]

I placed the ad here on IRV2 as a complete toad. That of course is a limited market so should the Jeep be listed locally as a regular car and remove the towing related equipment? I'll take a little time to remove the components but lately I have the time, What's the suggestion, let it run longer here as a toad or sell on the street as a car.

I'd suggest to keep the tow equipment on it and sell as toad. Look for additional RV related classified areas.

Selling as a toad or car

I would list it as-is, with all towing equipment installed, in the rvs+camp section of Craigslist and on Facebook Marketplace.

Advertise it as a toad in many different places. Someone will want it. Just may take a while due to the current lockdown situation across the country.

Listing it only on RV sites limits your pool of potential buyers. I’d list it on eBay, Craig’s, and Jeep Wrangler forums. Tell them about the Jeep including modifications. A lot of Jeep owners won’t care about the base plate, etc. as they’re going to mod it themselves to fit their needs.

Just checked and listed on CL but they are charging $5 for vehicles by owner now. Reckon I won't make multiple listings. I just joined a Jeep forum for a question but there's a 15 posting minimum so guess I need to "welcome" a bunch of people to build a posting count.

I put my old toad for sale in Florida. Did not get the responses I thought I would as a toad. More as a Jeep
Good Luck
