You live in Arizona - don't do it. It definitely adds heat load to the tire. The guys that like it, like the dude above from the pacific NW, not only is it not particularly hot there, but the water cools the tire.
Thank you for the warning...I had no plans on doing this to my own. I am more concerned with warning others as to the heat, etc., and I meant I am reading up on it further, just for informative purposes.
