SMI AF1 toad brake question

I have the SMI AF1 toad brake system which is great. Here is a question. My toad is a 2013 Chevy Sonic and there is not a lot of room under the hood so when my SMI AF1 was installed the control box was mounted on a bracket up front between the radiator and the engine. About the only space that would work. I was adding windsheild washer fluid today after returning from the store and this little engine puts out a lot of heat. The SMI control box was warm to the touch. I don't know what is in inside of the control box but would it be effected by the heat from the engine. Thanks

agree with what Joe stated. They have great customer support.

Best of luck and the AF1 is a great product.

Here is the response from Steve Mahon with SMI.

Don,

In regards to your E-Mail, The location of the install is acceptable. This location is often where we install as well. You should not have any problems due to heat. It is good to hear that your system is working well, and you enjoy it. If you ever need anything in the future do not hesitate to let us know,We are happy to help.

Please feel free to contact me with any future questions or concerns.

Regards,

Steve Mahon
