I'm reinstalling my AF1 in my new Explorer today and during the removal from my other vehicle, the little blue ring fell off the control box. I can identify the red connector (that goes to the little cylinder) but not the correct connection (blue) for the line that goes to the L bracket. SMI is closed today and my install instructions nor their web site shows any detail of that controller.

If anyone out there has an AFI and can take a quick peek under the hood and tell me which connector has the blue ring, I would be very grateful.

The bottom connector on mine has the blue ring. I don't know if age has anything to do with it but I bought mine in October, 2007. The receipt says AF0806 Air Force One Brake System (AFOA1533)

Hope this helps.
