Stabilizing MH overnight w toad & dolly attached?

Assuming one is on a 'fairly level' site for an overnight stay, has anyone jacked up their motorhome with their toad still loaded on a coupled dolly? I have a Fiesta ST on an Acme and have no idea what the loaded tongue weight is, but do have a fair amount of clearance between the car's overhang and dolly deck.

2nd question...say I shouldn't stabilize with dolly attached: Has anyone detached a loaded dolly from their motorhome? I would install a trailer tongue jack to facilitate this. Set toad parking brake - uncouple - raise dolly tongue a few inches with jack - pull MH away a foot or so - then stabilize.

Yes, I do it all the time when I use my dolly.

+ 2 Don't have a dolly, tow four down, but never disconnect for overnight stop and always deploy the levelers.

If it's an overnight stop and I'm in a truck stop or a Wally World etc. I don't put my levelers down if it's fairly level.

+3 I always level without disconnecting on pull throughs on one night stopovers. There is enough movement in the hitch to compensate for any drop or rise.

We tow 4 down but on an stop over if it’s basically level we just leave it the way it is. We don’t have levelers on our class c, but anything I can do to get us on the road quicker in the morning I do.

I have a light car (sonic - 2900 lbs) on the ACME dolly and I believe my tongue weight is about 275lbs. My rear slide goes out over the hood on the Sonic - sometimes I put the stabilizers down, but most of the time I don't as the dolly/car seems to stabilize some.

We level the coach a lot with our flat tow still attached. Perhaps it is being too cautious but I do this with the toad in neutral when going onto and then off the jacks. That allows the toad to roll if needed.

Wouldn't the toad always be in neutral while set up to tow? Put in neutral as soon as connected and left in neutral till ready to disconnect. Taking it out of neutral any other time could lead to problems. My feeling is that you never mess with toad Ebrake or tranny while connected.

Good point, ANYTIME the toad is connected to the coach, it is in neutral. That prevents an "OH S**T !!!" problem later.
