Our Flex is one that they recommend 65 to tow, I tow at any speed that I need and have made many long trips in the 70-75 mph range with no problems. I do, however, service the transmission every year with synthetic fluid and when we stop for fuel I do start it and run it through the gears. My mechanic couldn't see why the restriction as everything is submerged in fluid. I know heat could be considered, but just being pulled and not having any strain on the drive train I don't think could create much of a problem. Everybody has their own opinion and it is your checkbook if something should fail. Randy
