Stop bar for RViBrake2 in '15 Grand Cherokee

I want to buy the RViBrake2 for our new 2015 Grand Cherokee

Anyone out there with that set-up?

I need to figure out how to attach a stop bar between the seat rails for the unit to push against when it activates. Sam at RViBrake sent me a picture of an install that was done, but he's also talking about cutting the metal bar and fastening it to the floor between the seat rails.

Any help is appreciated.

Pat

If you are handy with a table or radial arm saw. Sounds like a wooden frame solution to me.

Good luck!

On the 2015 Cherokee Limited the stop bar slides under the front lip of each seat track. You have the option of keeping it temporary, which means you install it before each tow, or mount it permanent by screwing it to the seat pan through the pre drilled holes. Once you install the stop bar and then the RVi Brake, the box presses against the bar, it can't dislodge. Granted, this is for a Cherokee Limited, but your Grand Cherokee will probably be very similar.
