We have had several Jeep Grand Cherokees for toads this one is a 2021 Summit. We have only had it out a few time with our new DS. The last time when I went to unhook it it had no power steering, tried turning it off and on a couple time but no luck however after letting it sit for 15 minutes or so when started the steering is fine. When I got it home I am able to duplicate the problem by putting it tow mode and letting it sit for 10 minutes or so and when I go to go back to normal no power steering without letting it sit for 15 minutes. My 2 local Jeep dealers can't get me in for 3 or 4 weeks and "have never heard of this issue before".
Has anyone heard of or had this happen to them?

Now that I know how to do it correctly I have not had any more problems with my Grand Cherokee.
