Sunroof glass on Toad

I'm looking at a KR F150 as an alternative Toad, and looked up at the sunroof. Wow, they go from the front to the back now. Is that pretty vulnerable to rocks from my own coach?? Has anyone broke their own sunroof?

I towed a F150 with the big sunroof for 10,000 miles with no problem.

Good food for thought. We tow our Cadillac SRX which has a long opening sunroof and hadn't given it a thought....'til now!

Guess something could happen, but no one has reported any breakage,

I guess I brought it up because my TJ was getting peppered with rocks and I even lost a headlight. I would find gravel up in the hood seams and air intake, everywhere. I since removed my mudflap on the coach and so far it has corrected that issue, but a little early for a judgement.

I saw that huge window on the F150 and thought uh-oh! I asked on another forum and I did hear of 1 that broke, but overall many many miles with no issues. I was more or less looking to see if there was an overwhelming - NO, DON'T, but sounds like I may be OK

You should be OK. My Wrangler gets some gravel thrown at it from the MH, but not much. It all depends where your mud flaps are located and how far back your tag axel is relative to the frame. Most of my damage is a result of passing semis, or MHs kicking up road debris.

No glass problems towing the F150 over about 8,000 miles so far. The front got peppered with rock and gravel dings while towing it through MT and WY from MN. The windshield wiper tray area accumulated dozens of rocks but no damage at all to the windshield or giant sunroof. I will need to either remove the rear mudflap or look into some sort of shield to protect the front of the truck once I get the stone chips repaired and the front end repainted.
