Had a 2013 F150 XLT CC and i bought everything to be able to play around with the program its probaly a good thing i traded for the Ram before i screwed something up. On a side note i installed a OEM trailer brake controler on the Ram and a local dealer wanted $175 just to tell the BCM to hook it up found a dealer in another city to do the job for $100 , sure wish someone on the Ram form would do a program.

Yes, I got into it to try to get rid of the annoying "auto-off" on the audio system on my '15 150 - I like to sit parked and listen to it. Only managed to extend the time some, but couldn't defeat it entirely. Maybe I missed something.

I'm pretty cautious about doing much more, for the same reason you mentioned.
