I have a 2007 Itasca Meridian SE with a Ready brake system on a Roadmaster Sterling tow bar hooked to a F-150. When going down the road the whole unit wants to sway back and forth. It takes a bit of concentration to keep the sway under control.

We have not had it in a hard crosswind yet - could be an issue.

The F-150 is my daily driver and it does not seem to pull one way or the other....normally stable as can be. MH is also stable but easy to react.

Has anyone else had this issue?

First question would have to be , have you weighed the coach ready for travel and adjusted the tire pressure accordingly ?

Second ; your description .

" MH is also stable but easy to react . "

Could you perhaps give some detail on this statement .

That's odd. I tow a '17 F150 behind my Monaco Dynasty with a sterling tow bar and have absolutely no sway. What year is your F150?

Do you have a drop extension on the Towbar? We had some sway with ours because we added a 6" drop. The Towbar connected to drop and with both there was some movement back and forth in the connections. This caused Toad to sway some. I installed hitch tighteners to both the drop at MH and at Towbar this stopped the sway. Link below is what I picked up on Amazon made big difference.

I tow a Wrangler with a drop hitch and ready Brake. I also had sway, more like "The tail wagging the dog". I installed a hitch clamp on the drop to the motorhome and NSA's version on the towbar. Their version does not interfere with the braking action.
No more sway.

Is steering unlocked on towed? And as mentioned, tire pressures are critical.
