Even with a rear view (backup) camera, depth perception is tricky, it is a long way back there with a 35 ft. RV, followed by a hitch and a 18 ft car. Several things I do to add caution to the mix are (1) use magnetic mount turn signals on the Toad so drivers back there can see what I'm trying to do. (2) minimize tight right turns as much as possible due to the swing of the Toad (3) take my time traveling and not pass people unless absolutely necessary. In the course of a trip, a driver going a few miles per hour slower than I would like is no big deal, I simply slow down too. In larger cities and heavy traffic, I tend to use the second lane from the right to avoid all of the entering/exiting traffic in the right lane. Caution is the key.
