My dolly has lighting for brakes and turns and it is connected to the coach. All dollies have hook ups for this. But, I would get a harness for the toad and insure the lighting, brakes, turns, and clearance, all work on the towed vehicle. It's very easy to do as there are a boatload on DYI kits available. I got a kit from eTrailer.com that hooked everything up without modifying the OEM wiring. I want those around me to see me and know what I intend to do. It's the safest way to go.
