Toad ABS Systems wrt AirForce1 & M&G Sys. 2 Aux Braking Sys

Currently have the original M&G Aux Sys. (air over hydraulics & no proportional braking) on 06 DSDP with 05 RAV4 5 speed toad. When emergency stop was required (pickup with blowout slamming on brakes and stopping in middle of interstate and again when having to slam on brakes for red light with almost not existent yellow on 60 mph highway causing toad front wheels to lock creating flat spots making the tires unusable. $$$. Not sure whether it is the light wt. of the toad (2897lbs) or the lack of proportional braking causing my issues. Also, if the ABS braking system was active seems this would avoid the locking of the wheels. Obviously, slower driving would solve most or all of the issues but some issues are impossible to anticipate.

The AF1 and M&G2 appear to be almost identical in concept and both have proportional braking. Many raves regarding AF1, just wondering if anyone has experience with M&G2 system.

Tow procedure for 05 RAV4 5 speed: key in “ACC” position (prevents steering wheel locking), trans. in neutral, hand brake and everything else off. Regarding ABS brakes, AF1 representative advised that if toad battery does not require disconnect for towing the ABS feature of the toad will be active. Just wondering does the key need to be in the “on” position or key in “on” position with engine running for the ABS feature to be active.

Any comments regarding whether ABS breaking is ever active during towing?

I have the M&G that connects into the coach air system and has the actuator on the toad's master cylinder and it is a proportional system I was looking at a new toad and M&G doesn't make the setup like I currently have for the new toad and recommended a M&G 2. As you said, it seems very similar to AF1 .
