Assuming you have a diesel bus, I think I have the answer for you.

We had a Tiffin 39' bus and towed a Jeep Grand Cherokee (four-down, with a Roadmaster tow bar).

Because our RV had gotten older and we wanted to upgrade the braking system for more trips in the Rocky Mountains, etc., we added a first-class, simple, and cost-effective braking system.

The M&G Car Braking System connects the RV brakes to the toad brakes, so when the driver brakes the RV, the toad brakes too. It works perfectly!!!

These folks have my highest recommendation: M & G Engineering: https://m-gengineering.com/

We went to Athens, Texas, and had the whole deal installed at the brake company factory (located 7 miles North of Athens, TX on Hwy 19). It was a one-day install and we knew it had been done correctly.

The before and after difference was immediate and obvious, even in flat Texas: The RV and the toad worked in tandem. This braking system let us have total confidence in our rig. We knew we'd be safe in the Rockies.

Nowadays, there's a whole list of certified dealers: https://m-gengineering.com/dealers/

and an 800 number: 1-800-817-7698.

Maybe you can narrow things down a bit, for example which model Tiffin (diesel with air brakes, or not), what kind of TOAD, do you want a systems that can easily be moved from one TOAD to another, or do you want one that requires custom installation in the TOAD?

I agree with M&G if you have air brakes. Thats what I have on my F250 toad.

AF1 is uses a similar concept, but most people consider the M&G to be more robust.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us!

I recommend the NSA ReadyBrake system! It is simple, effective, low-cost, and with a lifetime warranty!

I would suggest that you create a signature showing the make and model of your RV. It will help folks to answer questions you may have in the future. Look at post #30 in the link below that tells you how to do that.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
