toad light wiring???

Just Bought a 01 Suzuki GV set-up for towing with towbar and electric plug to run the lights. Got the car behind the MH ,plugged in the lights and no tail lights on the car. Power to the plug on the MH, power thru the cord to the Zuki. Could there be a problem in the wiring harness to the taillights? The lights all work at the back of the car otherwise. Thanks Joe

pockyjoe48,
look for a toggle switch, some people tie the wiring thru a toggle switch to isolate the toad electrical system from the MH. The wire from the plug goes to the switch, then back to the tail lights, not positive, juzst a thought.
