TOAD on a Sprinter?

I have an older (2007) Sprinter - 6 cyl Turbo Diesel - contemplating getting a TOAD - does anyone have any recommendations / thoughts? Although Sprinter is easy enough to drive nearly everywhere, would enjoy convenience of small car once we establish camp. Concerned about strain on motor more than anything.

I see small toads behind sprinter motorhomes all the time. They seem to handle it.

We have towed a toad 4-down with our Sprinters for years, many miles … no issues.

With our 5 cylinder 2006 View, a Scion xA
With our 6 cylinder 2012 Navion, a MINI Cooper
With our 6 cylinder 2018 View, a Ford Escape (2012 variety).

The Escape is the heaviest toad we’ve had, comes in about 3,400 pounds. I think if you stay fairly light, you’ll be fine.
