Just completed a trip from Phoenix to Minnesota to Wisconsin and back. Towed my 2005 Jeep Liberty 4 down the entire trip. Jeep towed great, and we drove it a lot at our destination. Got back last night from Wisconsin, unhooked, and was surprised to find the Jeep had no power steering. I decided to move it into my garage, where it proceeded to dump a large amount of power steering fluid onto the floor. I'm assuming a hose has blown out. I'm just surprised that that would happen while towing. Steering was fine in the days before we departed from Wisconsin, and was fine when I was connecting it to the Motorhome for the return trip. Parked it on concrete so I would have noticed a leak. Not exactly sure when it happened because we left it connected the entire 3 day trip back. Any thoughts why this might have happened?
