Toad service intervals and tire rotation

Hi,

Do folks have their toad serviced more frequently than the recommended service intervals? Also do you include tow mileage in the tire rotation?

For sure on the tires I have 62K driven miles on my Jeep but 42K miles towed

I change the oil as required by driven mileage.
I change the brakes when they are worn out.
I rotate the tires when I buy new ones, 86,000 odometer miles on the back tires right now, changed the front tires at 60,000 odometer miles, and I had rotated the tires once before that.

So, no; I don't use the "toad" excuse to find more work to pile on my plate.

UD-

I have a Summer and Winter set of tires on the toad. They get "rotated" when put on. I replace them when they are worn.

We take the toad in for maintenance at a 5,000-mile interval (per the odometer, ignoring towed miles), except for the transmission fluid change. That's done every two years, as the Honda owners manual says:

Code:
Automatic transmission

If you tow a Fit behind a motorhome, the transmission fluid
must be changed every 2 years or 30,000 miles (48,000 km),
whichever comes first.

Thanks all,

I normally get oil changed at the interval. I have not added tow miles to the tire rotation but going to do in future.

I Change the oil and rotate the tires on the toad every 5,000 miles driven.
Figure that works out to about every 10,000 miles total, driven and towed.
Trucks got 25,000 driven and 24,000 towed.
