MH has a governed speed of 72, usually under that just so I have that extra kick before the injectors cut out.

Sweet spot for me is 63 - 65 towing a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The coach would like to go faster and the toad can handle it but I like to keep it at 65. On good flat surfaces I might bump it up to 67 or 68. I do have to use cruise control or this coach will have me in the Virginia reckless range (80 +) if I'm not careful because it wants to roll. There is no towing speed limit on the Jeep.

I tow a 2018 Equinox and GM says not to tow faster than 65 MPH because possible transmission failure.

2017 F150 4x4 has no top towed speed limit per the manual. You don't mention what you are towing WITH however. Also, braking ability is extremely important. Your F150 needs to be equipped with some type of braking system to be towed safely at ANY speed. Brake Buddy, Air Force One, or whatever. Enjoy!

I have a good operating brake system, (RVI) and go with flow and road conditions, that can be from 60 to 75. We were just in Utah with 80mph speed limits on interstates and we never went over 65 because of the road conditions.

A little off topic but I have been wondering since having a MH why towing something that gets bad mileage and is not fun to drive makes sense.

I use a tow dolly for a '95 Honda Del sol. Have not noticed a difference in handling or mileage.

As far as what speed you should tow at, tow at a speed you think you can survivor a steer time blowout.
