We have a 2019 Chevy Equinox which required a different electrical approach
to towing four down from our 2016. Namely, the 2019 unit needs full time DC power from the coach. Developed a wiring cable using a 20ft electric extension cord from Home Depot. Has worked great for two months of traveling.
Would like to add turn signals to the package to really be safe.
The Brakemaster system we use does activate the brake lights really well.
My thought is that connecting to the left and right power lines for the turn
signals at the front fascia of the Equinox with the proper wiring from the
coach should light both front and rear turn signals. The Equinox running
lights just require twisting the light switch.
What say all of you.

After research, I installed the Roadmaster independent system on our 2019 Equinox. Inexpensive, easy to install and reliable. Add a circuit breaker protected charge line and all the boxes are checked. No intrusion into the factory wiring.
